BRENTWOOD, Tennessee - Ozburn-Hessey Logistics (OH Logistics) has opened a new facility at its Riverside, California distribution campus with anchor tenant Hilti North America. Hilti supplies the worldwide construction industry with technologically leading products, services and systems; and has selected OH Logistics as their third party logistics partner.

OH Logistics was selected from among 16 providers to manage the new Hilti West Coast Re-Supply Center. "It was a very careful process, not rushed," says William Gerlach, Hilti's director of supply chain. "Our choice to go with OH Logistics came down to a cultural fit. It was important to us to find a company with the same values of teamwork and integrity, and we feel we made an excellent choice."
The opening of the Re-Supply Center has trimmed 14 days on imports from Asia to North America for Hilti. "We're now able to provide next-morning and same-day delivery of our products in select metro areas," says Gerlach.
The Hilti facility increases the OH Logistics presence in Southern California. The global supply chain management company now has nine distribution facilities in the area, totaling over 1.8 million square feet. Hilti utilizes 75,000 square feet of the 177,000 square foot space recently opened by OH Logistics. "It's a brand new facility," says Moynihan, "featuring state-of-the art technology and services, including a paperless RF environment, and AIB Food Grade quality standards. We look forward to serving additional customers from this flexible distribution center."
