Ozburn-Hessey was ranked 46th among the Top 50 Global Logistics Companies for 2007. Each year Armstrong & Associates compiles a list of logistics companies and ranks them according to gross revenues.

Outstanding Economic Development Award

2006 Winner - Presented by the Hendricks County, IN Economic Development Partnership.  This annual award is presented to companies that demonstrate continued investment in the community and provide jobs for local residents.

2007 - Readers of Logistics Management magazine have named OH Logistics as one of the 12 third-party logistics providers that are performing top-notch service here in the U.S. and around the world.

2006 - Readers of Logistics Management magazine ranked Ozburn-Hessey Logistics among the top 3PL service providers. Ozburn-Hessey Logistics received high ranking scores in the areas of carrier selection negotiation, order fulfillment, transportation distribution, inventory management and logistics information systems.

Top 10 Innovators

2006, 2005 - Ozburn-Hessey Logistics was honored with client, Great Lakes Kraut, as a Top 10 Innovator in 2005 and with client, Chef Solutions, as Top 10 Innovator in 2004.

Each year, Food Logistics Magazine identifies 10 companies in the supply chain management industry that are providing solutions to complex industry challenges for this prestigious award.

Kimberly-Clark

Warehouse Excellence Award – Best In Class

2005, 2004, 2003 - Lynn Fleshman, distribution analyst at Kimberly-Clark, visited Madison, Illinois to present the 2005 “Warehouse Excellence Award – Best in Class” to the OH Logistics team.

The Kimberly-Clark warehouses are graded on picking and loading errors, damages, inventory accuracy, inbound and outbound on-time confirmation, and timely and accurate reports. Extra points are allotted for physical inventory accuracy above 99.9%.

Any operation which receives an annual score above 100% for the year receives a “Warehouse Excellence Award”. The highest score receives the “Best in Class” award. Our Kimberly-Clark team has received the “Warehouse Excellence Award” for three straight years and has received the “Best in Class” award for two of those years.

2005 - According to the cover of the August 2005 issue, the annual list contains the people and companies driving the global supply chain forward.

December 2007 - Ozburn-Hessey Logistics is listed as one of the fastest growing companies in Tennessee. OH Logistics received the "Solar Flare" designation which describes large, firmly established companies experiencing a new growth or whose growth against the industry baseline is remarkable.

2005 - Ozburn-Hessey Logistics is included in this year's Fast50 selection.  Business Tennessee assembled its second annual Business Tennessee Fast50 ranking of the fastest growing private companies in Tennessee.

"The 2005 Business Tennessee Fast50 surely reflects the diversity of industry that is so beneficial to our state," said David A. Fox, editor of Business Tennessee magazine. "These companies are showing what entrepreneurial drive amid a good business climate can accomplish. Outstanding Service Award

2005 - Lanter Distributing, a division of Ozburn-Hessey Logistics, has been honored by Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation, one of the world’s largest apparel companies, for Outstanding Service including a 99.15% on time delivery rate for 2004. Chef Solutions

Best in Class LTL/Pool Carrier of the Year Award

2005 - Lanter Distributing, a division of Ozburn-Hessey Logistics, was honored by Chef Solutions, a manufacturer of refrigerated prepared foods and bakery products, as LTL/Pool Carrier of the Year.

In late 2003, the two companies partnered to improve Chef’s service levels and lower total-landed logistics costs. Lanter Distributing delivered 2,750 shipments of salads for Chef Solutions in five states during 2004.

SYSCO

National Forward Warehouse Provider of the Year Award

2005, 2004, 2003 - The Fond du Lac, WI facility received the National Forward Warehouse Provider of the Year Award for a third consecutive year.  The Fond du Lac multi-client campus performance was the highest in both categories: customer received services and metrics.  The relationship between SYSCO and Fond du Lac started in 1978, the length of partnership is not the norm in outsourced relationships in today's business environment.

Excellence In Shipping Accuracy Award

2003 - The Fond du Lac, WI facility received a plaque recognizing excellence in shipping accuracy. The award reads: “SYSCO Corporation has recognized the efforts of the Ozburn-Hessey Logistics group for its excellence in shipping accuracy to our operating companies."

Starbucks

BRAVO! Award for Innovation, Resourcefulness, and Action in Service, Sales, and Savings

2003 - Ozburn-Hessey Logistics received a BEAN STOCK “BRAVO!” for outstanding commitment to the Starbucks partnership over the past four years. The award reads in part, "The hard work and dedication of your people provided our stores with superior service. Starbucks recognizes you for your can-do, success-oriented attitude."

Abbott Laboratories

Excellence Award for Outstanding Performance

2003, 2002 - Ozburn-Hessey Logistics was presented an Excellence Award for Outstanding Performance.  The award reads in part, "In Recognition Of Your Outstanding Performance In Inventory Accuracy, Quality Assurance, Consolidations And Damage Control 2002." Ozburn-Hessey Logistics was ranked number two of 49 outside distribution facilities nationwide.
