OH Logistics achieved ISO Certification in 1998 and is ISO 9001:2000 certified. OH Logistics understands that documented and institutionalized processes are very valuable for any enterprise provided they have been implemented and utilized properly. The advantages of such standardized processes are that they can be replicated and are less dependent on specific individuals within the company.
On the other hand, the OH Logistics' Quality Program does not restrain our employees by limiting their creative contributions towards problem-solving and process improvement. An effective quality management system aims at diminishing repetitive tasks, liberating intellectual capacity to perform other more demanding duties. Additionally, implementing a quality management system allows a company to systematically rethink the way things are being done and question its current business processes. Quality certification is therefore not done to get the “rubber stamp” but, rather, to improve processes and formally document them.
The quality standards used internally by OH Logistics exceed the formal requirements of the ISO standards. The OH Logistics quality strategy focuses on customer-specific accounts and locations per client requirements. All new sites added to the OH Logistics network will operate as ISO approved sites.
