Duke pre-leases 60 percent of building prior to completion

Indianapolis, Indiana — Ozburn-Hessey Logistics, a leading supply chain management services company, has signed a 5-year lease for 400,000 square feet at Duke Realty Corporation’s Plainfield 8 building. Located in the Plainfield Business Park, the 650,000 square foot speculative bulk distribution warehouse facility was completed in July. Ozburn-Hessey Logistics will take occupancy this month.

Plainfield 8 sits on 42 acres and is a cross-loaded facility featuring I-70 frontage, 36-foot clear height, 60 dock doors, 28 knockouts, 4 drive-in doors with electric operations and 50-foot by 50-foot bay spacing. It also offers 140 truck courts, 30 trailer spaces and 293 car parking spaces.

Upon completion of Plainfield 8 Duke will have 3.45 million square feet of property and 30 acres for future development at Plainfield Business Park. In addition, AllPoints Midwest, part of the Browning-Duke joint venture has 922-acres adjacent to the Indianapolis International Airport with excellent access to the CSX intermodal rail facility, I-70 and Ronald Reagan Parkway. This development can support 12 buildings and 12.5 million sq ft of modern warehouse facilities.
