Experts on Compliance and Pandemic Flu Preparedness Address Leaders in Pharmaceutical Industry

BRENTWOOD, Tennessee— Ozburn-Hessey Logistics (OH Logistics) is a sponsor of LogiPharma 2007, the premiere North American Pharmaceutical Supply Chain event taking place September 17-19, 2007 at the Loews Philadelphia, PA hotel. This event brings together leaders in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries including manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers, hospitals, drug chains and pharmacies.
LogiPharma 2007 kicks off with the Distribution and Transportation Management Forum on September 17, followed by the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Summit on September 18-19. Supply chain professionals in the industry will discuss new strategies and technologies that can contribute to supply chain sustainability and cost-efficiency.

On Monday, September 17, Mary Jo Muoio, SVP of OH Logistics’ Barthco International division and President of the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA) will participate in a panel discussion on regulatory compliance with Brian Loiacono, Senior Regulatory Specialist with Henry Schein, Inc.; Ron Lanton, Government Relations Industry Analyst with H.D. Smith; and Joshua Bolin, Board Liaison, National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP).
OH Logistics is sponsoring lunch on September 17 as well. Ms. Muoio will provide a brief overview of OH Logistics and introduce the afternoon topics during the lunch break.
On September 19, William Evans, SVP of OH Logistics’ Barthco International division will participate in a panel discussion regarding preparation for pandemic flu with William McLaury, Executive Director, US Supply Chain Management with Novartis Pharmaceuticals and Dan Gehring, MBA, CPOM, Manufacturing Supply Chain Manager—Dry Products with Eli Lilly & Company.
