Mike Burns Joins Growing Supply Chain Management Company as EVP

BRENTWOOD, Tennessee-Ozburn-Hessey Logistics (OH Logistics) recently added Mike Burns as Executive Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing to its executive management team. In this newly created role, Burns will work across OH Logistics' divisions to design global supply chain solutions for clients and prospects.
Prior to joining the OH Logistics team, Burns held various positions in consulting, third party logistics and the high-tech industry for which he developed and implemented global supply chain strategies. Most recently, he was the SVP of Global Development for DHL, which provided integrated freight management and contract logistics solutions for DHL's worldwide customers. Prior to that, Burns was the SVP of Strategy and Development for the Americas and SVP Global Development for the Technology and Global Freight group for Exel. He has also worked for Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) and IBM.

Burns has an M.B.A. from The Ohio State University with a concentration in Operations and Logistics Management, and a B.S. in Marketing from Miami University. He is actively involved in industry associations, including the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
